Air heater with low pressure drop for homogeneous heating of air flows

PTC Air Heaters are finned resistor heaters with a large surface area for homogeneous heating of air flows. They achieve a power up to 3kW, depending on the type, and cannot overheat thanks to the PTC effect. Their heating fins in V- or Delta-shape allow for homogeneous heat distribution and low pressure drop. The insulated HRP version comes with an increased resistance to vibration, dirt, and moisture and is suited for difficult environmental conditions.

The application possibilities of PTC Air Heaters are nearly unlimited. Thanks to their modular design, different cross-sections and performance versions can easily be realized. This flexibility combined with matching accessories - such as mounting frames, housings and temperature limiters - allows us to find a suitable solution for each customer. PTC Air Heaters are most commonly used as pre- or post-heaters in air conditioning and ventilation systems (HVAC), but also serve as cabin heaters in special-purpose vehicles or as control cabinet heaters in electrical enclosures.
